Dharmapad Ranjit is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department (Social Work)​ at National Institute of Social Work and Social Sciences. Ranjit obtained his Master of Arts in English and Social Work from Utkal University. He has attended many national and international seminars, conferences and training programmes in NIRD, Hyderabad, NCDHR, Delhi and Caritas India, Bangalore.  He is actively engaged in teaching both graduate and post-graduate students of social work; research and advocacy for the person with disabilities, trance gender, and persons with positive HIV.  He is a master trainer on Result Based Management (RBM), Dalit Human Rights and Ambedkar’s ideals.
